I’m still working my way through a trove of images from my dawn raid on the Lakes last weekend and having some trouble deciding on the final treatment for a couple of shots. As the sun rose that morning the colours over Lake Windermere became more vibrant by the second. This produced some glorious images, but upon review I feel some of them may be just a bit too colourful.
I wouldn’t usually do this but I’ve put a couple of colour and black and white conversions side by side for comparison as I’m curious to know peoples opinion!
Both shots from the same spot on the rocks at Holme Crag looking down the lake just as the sun broke through.
